Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Group Lauack, an aeronautical equipment supplier, has announced to recruit bewteen 100 and 120 employees before July 2019. The group has created 80 positions in 2017 thanks to the good health of Airbus and the pick up in the helicopter and business aviation markets. The total workforce will increase from 1,550 people (including 600 at the headquarter at Ayherre-Hasparren, near Bayonne) to more than 1,700, thanks to the acquisition last June of a company that will allow Lauack to solicit Boeing.
