Description

Multinational producer of automotive components Adient (previously Johnson Controls) has announced that it will create 230 new jobs at its new production hall in Skarbimierz by the end of 2019. The unit will produce truck seats for MAN Truck&Bus.

The company has a global workforce of 85,000 members of staff working in 238 locations across 34 countries. Adient specializes in the production of car seats. It has been operating in Skarbimierz since 2013, employing about 1,270 people. The company has also production units in Świebodzin, Siemianowice Śląskie, Bieruń and Żory.

In June 2018, the company announced a restructuring programme resulting in a creation of 120 jobs in Siemianowice Śląskie.
