Description
The Romanian subsidiary of German discount supermarket chain Lidl announced that up to 500 new jobs will be created in seven new stores in Romania by the end of 2018. Local Lidl also plans to open a new logistic centre in the Eastern part of Romania which will supply 50 Lidl stores.
As of July 2018, Lidl Romania operates a network of 227 stores in Romania, employing a workforce of approximately 4,800.
Across Europe, Lidl operates over 10,000 stores.
