European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Wessex bus has announced that it will close in the later part of 2018, with services being either cut or transferred to rival company Stagecoach. The company operates in the South West with depots in Keynsham and Avonmouth and employs 200 staff. It has been confirmed that 60 staff will transfer to Stagecoach under the TUPE regulations, while the other 140 jobs are being made redundant. The transfer of parts of the company to Stagecoach is expected to complete at the start of September 2018.
