Description
The Dutch company GGN, a debt collection agency, has recently announced that it will cut 100 jobs from its workforce of 700 empoyees. The company has been struggling in recent years and recently gained negative media attention due to the lack of transparency in its cases and under which circumstances cases are escalated to court. This, and the fact that timely payments have increased, means that demand for the GGN’s services has declined. While the workers have been informed of the cuts, it is not clear when they will commence or when the reorganisation will end.
