Description

DEME (Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering NV) has announced it is looking for 660 employees in the coming period due to large international orders, both in Europe and globally. The company will work for example on a new tunnel connecting Denmark and Germany. Construction is due to start in 2020 with a budget of 750m euro. In particular the company is seeking to hire engineers. The company foresees it will be difficult to find enough appropriate profiles as they are also wanted by other sectors (e.g.: the chemical and construction sector). According to Le Soir, 40% of the new recruits are likely to be hired in Benelux countries and 60% outside.
