Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Olympus, a leading Japanese manufacturer of optical and digital precision technology, has announced that it will create 300 jobs at the Olympus Business Services Europe (OBSE) in Wrocław within the next two years. The unit will act as a business service centre for its branches in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The centre will focus mainly on administrative and accounting processes.
Olympus, a Japanese manufacturer of optics and reprography products, was founded in 1919. In Poland, the company has been operating for over 20 years.
