European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The commercial court of Lille has decided the liquidation of Artmadis, a wholeretailer specialised in tableware. The 198 employees will be dismissed. Artmadis is a former subsidiary of group Arc International. It was taken over by the German company Mutares AG in 2012. Artmadis has its headquarter in Wasquehal (Nord) and three warehouse in Arques (Pas-de-Calais) and Parthenay (Deux-Sèvres). The company was placed in receivership on 22 May 2018. Since, no buyer has been identified to take over the company. Therefore the tribunal decided the immediate liquidation of the company.
