Description
Department Store John Lewis will be opening a new outlet in Cheltenham Gloucestershire in October 2018, which will result in the creation of around 300 new jobs. The roles available include both part time and full time positions, at various levels and functions within the business such as selling and service assistants and customer support partners. The recruitment process for the vacancies is already underway.
John Lewis operates a partnership scheme, whereby the new applicants will become partners in the business; effectively becoming co-owners. The news that John Lewis will open in Cheltenham has been welcomed by local business leaders and politicians.
Last year, the UK-based retailer announced the loss of 387 jobs.
