Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Indian chemical corporation SRF announced a new plant in Jászfényszaru and the creation of 100 new jobs. The new production is planned to start by the end of 2019 and involves €60 million in investments. The annual production performance of the new unit is expected to reach 40,000 tonnes. The plant is going to produce BOPET (biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate) and BOPP (biaxially-oriented polypropylene) foils.
SRF is a chemical-based multi-business conglomerate, active in several sectors and engaged in the production of industrial and special intermediate chemicals. It has 15 manufacturing units in two continents and it employs 6,300 people globally.
