Description
Low cost airline Ryanair announced 750 new hirings in Italy by the end of 2018. The company also announced it will hire another 1500 employees in Italy over the next five years.
Workforce expansion is due to the growth in the number of passengers recorded by the company in 2017 in the country (more than 36,2 millions) and plans to increase yearly passengers to 39 millions by 2019. Intensified activities in airports such as Crotone, Bergamo, Rimini and Rome and in regions such as Sardinia and Sicily are linked to the expansion of turism in these areas.
