Description
About 400 miners will be made redundant as a result of the announced closure of the last underground mine in the country in Bobov Dol. The job cuts are to start gradually from 16 July and end at the end of this year. At the discretion of the management, the redundancy may be completed before the scheduled end date, in compliance with the labour law procedures and following a notification to the Labour Inspectorate in Kyustendil.
The underground mine is owned by Vagledobiv Bobov Dol EOOD, whose sole owner is Vagledobivna Kompania OOD.
