Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Finnish technology company Nokia has announced that it will increase its workforce by 200 jobs at its research and development centre in Kraków by the end of 2018. The company is looking for IT specialists, both experienced specialists and graduates, who will work on new telecoms solutions related to LTE and 5G wireless networks.
Nokia operates in four Poland’s locations (Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław and Bydgoszcz) employing almost 6,000 employees. Nokia has been operating in Kraków for over 7 years; currently, the company employs around 750 people in the city.
