Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish construction company Unibep has announced the creation of 100 new jobs at its production facility in Bielsk Podlaski. The company has just launched a new production hall, with an area of 8,000 m2, becoming the largest European producer of modular houses. Wooden panels and modules for construction and assembly of multi-family building and public utility facilities will be sold mainly to Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Unibep was founded in 1965; nowadays, the company is one of the largest construction companies in Poland and the largest Polish exporter of construction services. The company operates in various segments of the construction industry, including modular buildings production. Currently, the company employs about 1,500 people, including 500 in the unit in Bielsk Podlaski.
