German producer of components for the automotive industry Ideal Automotive announced that it will create up to 500 jobs at its new production site in Świdnica (Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, Poland). The company plans to invest over PLN 63.76 million (EUR 15 million) in the construction of the factory which is expected to be operational at the end of 2018. The unit will produce interior textile and plastic components for passenger cars for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo, VW, McLaren, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Porsche.
Headquartered in Germany, Ideal Automotive employs over 4,500 people in 16 locations (Germany, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Mexico, China and Poland).
