Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German producer of aviation engines MTU Aero Engines has announced that it will create 200 new jobs by the end of 2019. The restructuring event is associated with the expansion of the production complex in Jasionka, near Rzeszów. MTU Aero Engines is to implement 3D printing technologies into the production of aviation engines. As the source reports, the company has already invested EUR 100million, and another EUR 80million will be invested in the project within the next years.
The company has been operating in Poland since 2009; currently, MTU Aero Engines employs about 800 people in Jasionka.
