German discount retailer Aldi confirmed it is creating nearly 150 jobs in Hungary in the area of sales, administration, IT and marketing. Aldi is going to increase the number of regional sales managers by more than 20%. For this position, Aldi offers a gross starting wage of EUR 2,590 per month. They are going to raise the number of assistants as well, for them the gross starting wage is EUR 1,416.The company also announced a new internship program this spring, seeking university students in various areas from finance through marketing, HR, logistics to sales.Aldi Magyarország Élelmiszer Bt. opened its first store in Hungary in 2008, currently employs almost 3,000 Hungarian employees, and has expanded to a nationwide supermarket chain with 130 stores.
