Description

The Swiss company Lonstroff, a member of the Japanese group Sumitomo Rubber Industries, will invest €43 million in a new medical elastomere factory in Logatec. The investment is going to create 180 new jobs by April 2019 when Lonstroff plans to launch a new production of rubber shields for tubes and other medical devices. The government will contribute with a financial incentive amounting to €4.8 million. Lonstroff signed a contract with the Slovenian government on 18th April and will start building the factory in May 2018.
