Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Drylock Technologies, a global family-owned hygiene products company, is expanding its production at the Czech site of Hrádek nad Nisou, Czech Republic, and will hire 300 new employees. The new manufacturing hall is set to open in summer 2018 with an investment of CZK 1.5 billion (EUR 59.2 million). Upon completion, the site will be the largest of its kind in Europe and one of the largest in the world.
Drylock Technologies, headquartered in Zele, Belgium, employs over 2,000 people worldwide and has production facilities in Russia, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, USA and Brazil.
