Avant Homes has announced plans to create up to 360 new jobs. The home builder, which has its regional base in Sunderland, will be building 750 new homes at six development sites across the North East. The company has been expanding rapidly in recent times and secured extra financing in August 2017 to increase its land buying activities, leading to recent profit growth. The announcement does not specify when the new jobs will be filled, though the sites for development have been named.
