European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Biometrix, an Israeli company which produces medical aids, is building its second factory in Samorin in Slovakia. Thanks to the new investment, 120 new jobs will be created there. According to Biometrix manager, the business expansion is attributed to moving some of Biometrix production from other EU countries to Slovakia. The company has been producing infusion tubes, catheters and blood pressure monitoring devices in Samorin for about 10 years. It presently employs 150 employees. The new factory should start the production during 2018.
