Description

Engineering company Dyson has announced plans to create 300 jobs in its electric car design team. The company, which is better known for its vacuum cleaners and hand dryers, has announced plans to start electric car production by 2020 and already has 400 people in the team. The team is in the process of moving to a new research and development centre in Hullavington, Wiltshire and the new jobs will be located there. The location for the production of the cars has yet to be determined, though it is understood that this could take place in the UK. The timeframe for filling the new design jobs is not known.
