Description
The Finnish taxi company Kajon is planning to hire an estimated 500 new taxi drivers in 2018. Currently, the company operates mainly in the Helsinki metropolitan area, but it plans to expand to other large cities, including Turku and Tampere. Kajon is also planning on starting a franchising business in May 2018.
With this business expansion the company is preparing for the deregulation of the taxi sector in Finland. The new taxi laws, which open up the sector to more competition and affect price regulation, will take effect at the beginning of July 2018.
