Description
The Norwegian multinational Lindorff (dedicated to the recovery of debts and unpaid credits generated within the financial system) has announced the proposed number of dismissed workers for an upcoming restructuring: 449 workers throughout Spain, of which 147 are employed in La Cistérniga centre (Valladolid). The restructuring is due to organisational reasons, result of the recent merger processes with Aktua and the Swedish company Intrum Justitia.
The social partners have 30 days to negotiate the terms of the dismissals. The Union CGT points out that in a performing company such as Lindorff a collective dismissal of this scope to improve competitiveness levels is unjustified. The Union requires additional relevant documentation to analyze the reasons behind the planned dismissals.
