The fourth phase of the Courier company Unipost's closure will imply 499 dismissals and the closure of 17 centers (five centers in Barcelona, seven centers in Madrid, three centers in Zaragoza and one center in Seville, in Malaga, in Murcia, in Logroño, in Mallorca, in Huesca and in Valencia). Those dismissals come after the employment adjustment announced in October 2017 (2200 jobs) and the unsuccessful outcome in trying to sell the company to another private company within the sector or to an investment fund.

Update 03/05/2018:

The insolvency administrators of Unipost has presented the fourth phase of the labour force adjustment plan, which will affect about 500 workers. According to this information, the last phase of this layoff is expected to be implemented at the beginning of June, affecting about 80 employees who will still work in the company.
