Description
Furniture retailer Warren Evans is reported to be closing following a failure to secure new investment; 287 jobs will be lost. The business had been seeking investment since November 2017 and has now taken the decision to enter administration. The company operates 14 showrooms across London and the South East as well as a manufacturing site in London. A statement from the administrators confirmed that there had been a search for investment which had proven unsuccessful. Attempts to sell the business will continue, though in the absence of new partners the business is set to close.
