Description

IBM France has announced the opening of its first French Security Operations Center (SOC) to detect and analyse computer attacks. The centre will be based in Lille (Nord). This centre, which currently has about ten employees, should reach 100 employees within three years. 90 recruitments are thus planned. In addition, the shared services centre, which currently employs 600 people, is also expected to grow up to 1,000 employees within three years. In total the group is expected to create 490 positions within three years at Lille.

At the same time, IBM has announced a voluntary departure plan at the national level to cut 99 jobs. Negotiations will be ongoing for the next month.
