Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
IT company, Ergo, is creating 100 new jobs across Dublin and Cork.
The new roles will be in the area of commercial, technical, project and programme management. Ergo currently employs 410 in Ireland, having been established in 1993.
Ergo specialises in IT solutions, such as cloud and managed services.
The company recently invested €2m in its digital application platform which is being used in the healthcare sector 'for conditions such as epilepsy, where patients play an active role in their own care.'
The jobs creation measure is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
