Description

Car interiors specialists International Automotive Consultants has announced plans to close its site in Sunderland. The decision is expected to result in the loss of 100 jobs. The decision has been taken due to the fall in orders from customers close to the site. The company is considering carrying out existing orders for customers at sites which are closer to those customers. Staff have been informed of the company's position and a formal collective redundancy consultation is reported to be underway. The company downsized at its site in Merseyside in 2017.
