European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German-capital freight transport company Hegelmann Transporte is to create around 250 new jobs in Kaunas region in 2018. The company will open a new logistics centre in May 2018 and a new administrative office in November 2018. The company’s investment in the expansion amounts to €20 millions. Hegelmann Transporte is also expanding its fleet: indeed, it has recently bought 1,000 new trucks. In 2017, the sales revenue of the company increased by 40% as compared to 2016 and amounted to €150 millions. Currently Hegelmann Transporte employs 863 employees in its subsidiary in Kaunas.
