Description

Europe’s largest car producer Volkswagen has announced that it will create 1,000 new jobs at its production facilities in Poland by the end of 2018. The restructuring programme is associated with the company’s plan to expand its activity in Poland. The plan for 2018-2019 indicates that the company will  invest EUR 200 million, expand a factory in Poznań, launch a production of new model of Caddy 5 and Crafter, launch a new welding shop and, implement the third shift in a factory in Września.

Volkswagen Poznań has been operating in Poland since 1993; the company employs nearly 11,000 people in four production facilities in three Polish cities (Polkowice, Poznań and Września).
