Description
Hampshire Police announced that they are set to cut 160 jobs in a bid to reduce costs by about 6 million GBP (€ 6.78 million). Around 110 officer roles will be lost, in addition to 50 staff roles. The bulk of the job cuts will take place during the 2018/19 financial year, though it is understood that the force has tasked consultants with identifying more ways to make savings. The force has attempted to focus cuts on roles which have been deemed to have the lowest operational impact.
