European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Medisize, a manufacturer of plastic components for medical devices, is increasing its production capacity by hiring new employees in Kontiolahti. The company will recruit some 50 people for the production line and 25 for support functions, in addition to investing into equipment and potentially into production premises. Behind the business expansion is the increasing demand for insulin pens as well as new products, while demand for other products remains stable.
