Description
Boat manufacturer Fairline Yachts has announced plans to create 200 new jobs when it opens its new factory in Hythe in Hampshire. The site in Hampshire was previously part-owned by Green Marine which went into liquidation in October 2017, resulting in the loss of 46 jobs. Fairline Yachts emerged from Northamptonshire-based Fairline Boats which entered administration in 2015. By taking on premises in Hythe the company will be able to build larger yachts which it is unable to do at its Northamptonshire site. Production is due to begin at Hythe in the summer of 2018.
