European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Punch Powerglide Strasbourg has announced to recruit 300 employees by 2021 in the framework of an investment plan of €44 million to develop and produce a gearbox for hybrid vehicles. Its first client is a Chinese company. The production launch is scheduled for mid 2019. In 2021, the plant is expected to generate € 750 million in turnover (with 750,000 units produced against 380,000 units this year) and to employ 300 more employees. 100% of Punch Powerglide's production is exported to its two main markets, Europe and China.
