Description

Poldi Kladno, a Czech metallurgical plant, went bankrupt and about 150 employees will be dismissed by the end of 2017. The company's debts amount to over one billion Czech crowns (EUR 38,8 million). The indebted company failed to meet the reorganization conditions that the court required in the spring. The production stopped and employees were not paid for months. Poldi Kladno was the pride of the Czech industry. The famous steel mill used to belong to the largest companies in the country.
