European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German producer of batteries for tools and garden equipment BMZ has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its production facility in Gliwice (Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland). The company is looking for production staff, engineers and administrative staff. The restructuring programme is associated with a plan to increase overall production, and the factory is estimated to be able to increase its workforce to 1,000 employees within the next two years.
BMZ was established in 1994 in Germany. Nowadays, it is one of Europe’s leading providers of systems and solutions for intelligent mobile energy market. The company has factories in Poland, Germany, France, Japan, China and United States, employing 2,300 people, including 700 employees in the factory in Gliwice.
