Description
Turkish household appliances manufacturer, Akim Metal, announced it will open its first plant in Romania by July 2018, thereby creating 900 new jobs in Vacaresti (Dambovita County). The company will invest €100 million into the construction of the new plant, which is due to start in 2018. The Vacaresti plant will produce washing machines.
The company was established in 1973 and has eight plants in Turkey.
