Description
Ikea Romania, a subsidiary of the Swedish group Ikea, announced it will invest €86 million into opening its second store in Romania by June 2018, thereby creating jobs for 300 workers.
As of November 2017, the company has started construction of the new store. Ikea will open seven new stores in Romania by 2025.
Ikea entered the Romanian market in 2007 by opening its first store in Bucharest.
Globally, the company has 355 stores in 29 countries.
