Polish producer of furniture Tanne, a subsidiary of Fabryki Mebli Forte, has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its new wood-based board factory and warehouse in Suwałki (Suwałki Special Economic Zone, Poland). The investment project, worth PLN 700 million (EUR 165.94 million USD 195.08 million),  is divided into three stages which will be completed in 2017, 2018 and 2020, respectively. The announced restructuring event is associated with the completion of the first stage of the investment. The last stage – launching a furniture factory – will bring approximately 700 jobs in 2020.

Founded in 1992, Fabryki Mebli Forte is the leading European producer of flat-packed furniture. Currently, the company owns four production facilities in Ostrów Mazowiecka, Suwałki, Białystok and Hajnówka. The company is also one of the biggest Polish exporters with sales in 40 countries.
