Description
The Marshal’ Guard (Straż Marszałkowska), a body managed by the Chancellery of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, will create 130 new positions in 2018. The restructuring programme is associated with a reform of the Guard which will be in force from January 2018. The primary task of the Guard is to ensure the safety of deputies and senators and to keep law and order in the parliamentary buildings. At the moment, the Guard consists of 160 guards.
