Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Hungarian food industry company Kall Ingredients opened its new factory which will create 500 jobs and 750 will be created indirectly in Tiszapüspöki, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county.
The HUF 45 billion (EUR 144.5 million) investment was supported by a HUF 9.2 billion (EUR 29.5 million) government grant. Built on a 68 hectare area, the factory will produce isoglucose and other liquid sugars and sweeteners from non-gmo Hungarian corn. Projected to process 530,000 tons of corn yearly, the factory is expected to generate approximately HUF 55 billion (EUR 176.5 million) turnover annually.
