Description
Alka Group, which specialises in producing biscuits, cakes, coffee, wafers and savoury snacks, will expand its activities by opening another plant by the end of 2018, resulting in the creation of 100 new jobs. The expansion is a result of a €11,5 million investment. The new plant will open in Ploiesti (Prahova County), and constitutes the Group's second plant in Romania.
The brand was brought to Romania in 1994.
According to the website of the Ministry of Finance, as of 2017, the company has 600 employees.
