Estonian-capital company Rifas, which is engaged in the production of control and process automation cabinets and other electrical equipment, is expanding its activities in Lithuania and is to create 100 new jobs in Panevezys. Currently the company employs 117 employees.
The company's core business is the manufacture and sale of electrical control and distribution units, and the design and installation of industrial automation equipment. Most of the production is exported to foreign markets (Norway, Finland, Austria, etc.). Rifas belongs to Harju Elekter group and it supplies its products to international companies such as Rolls-Royce Marine, Siemens Marine.
