s Bausparkasse, the Sparkasse and Erste Bank's lending association specialising in financing for housing, registered 76 employees with the early warning system of the public employment service (AMS). According to newspaper reports, the final number of redundancies is still unclear. More than three quarters of affected employees are 55 years or older and the company is offering them flexible pension-schemes for early retirement. This step is part of the internal restructuring process which also include investments in the digitalisation of processes.
