Description

Amundi,  Europes' largest asset manager by assets under management, has announced that it will cut 134 positions in France in the framework of the acquisition of the Italian company Pioneer Investments (July 2017) that belonged to UniCredit. The job cuts (6% of the workforce in France) will result in a voluntary departure plan currently negotiated with the trade unions. Following the acquisition of Pioneer Investments, Amundi employs 5,000 people worldwide. The company announced in December 2016 to expect a job reduction of 10% of the workforce worldwide due to the acquisition.
