Description
Parcel delivery company DPD has unveiled plans to open a new distribution centre in Bulwell, near Nottingham. The location was selected because of its good transport links and proximity to the motorway network. The site will create 100 new jobs, the majority being for warehouse operatives and drivers. The 60,000 square feet site is expected to be fully operational by spring 2018. The news of the investment has been heralded as excellent news for the local economy by local political representatives. DPD announced a similar expansion to its operations earlier in 2017 in Bristol.
