It has been announced that the Herbert Group is expanding its chain of KFC restaurants across Northern Ireland. The group will take on 27 restaurants in the UK and Ireland and further expansion of 20 restaurants is expected in England in the first quarter of 2018. The expansion will result in the creation of 100 jobs in Northern Ireland. Eighty jobs will be created as part of the expansion of the new home delivery service, which is currently being trialled. A further 20 jobs will be created in the group's head office in Belfast.
