Description
Online supermarket retailer Ocado has announced plans to create 200 new jobs at its site in Andover, Hampshire. The business is seeking warehouse operatives to work in its distribution centre at the town's Walworth Business Park. Currently 600 staff work at the site, so the new jobs will expand the number of workers by one third. The jobs are expected to be added in advance of the busy Christmas period, though the positions are permanent and will continue afterwards. The news of Ocado's decision has been welcomed by the local chamber of commerce.
