Description
Insurance company Aegon has announced plans to close its office in Hove, and move the work to Witham. The decision means that 190 jobs at Hove have been identified as at risk, and a statutory consultation process is already underway. It has been reported that affected staff will be given the option to relocate to Witham, though given the distances involved, it is unlikely that many employees will choose this option, and Aegon has appointed a consultant to assist affected staff with job seeking.
